We’ve all seen how successful the Wii has being since launching in December 2006 and it seems to be paying off for Nintendo with each average Nintendo employee earning the company USD 1.6 milion (£800,000) each in profit for the year.
The 3000 permanent staff who work for the company are the top profit generators anywhere in the world; the Financial Times has said. The low staff staffing roster is associated with this success as a fair chunk of work for Nintendo is outsourced. Manufacturing costs and sales are also dealt with outside of the main company itself.
Salaries for the average staff at Nintendo range from USD 90,900 (£45,450).
