Bungie’s Weekly Update has announced the secrets behind two of their Easter eggs, Ranked BTB information and a few details about upcoming maps for Halo 3.

Bungie’s Halo 3 has been named Game of the Year by Time Magazine and was praised as being, “Like a pebble that has been rounded over the centuries by the gentle splashing of the ocean waves, Halo 3 has become the perfect hardcore first-person combat simulator”.

Bungie have announced in their latest news update that coinciding with the release of the Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack download tomorrow will be an update.

Today Bungie revealed plans for a batch of new maps for their record breaking game Halo 3.

No doubt many of you have finished the fight and are now honing your skills in the multiplayer arenas of Xbox LIVE.

In a press release on the Bungie Studios website today, it was announced that Bungie will now become a privately held independent company.
