Bungie have just announced that their legendary FPS title Halo 2 has managed to hit the 5 Million unique players mark.
The figure is based on the number of unique accounts that have logged into Halo 2 and played online and just a note the 5 millionth user goes by the name of ’ultra theodore’.
Depsite the game getting some bad press at times, this one statistic goes to show that you don’t have to have a perfect game to tap into the hearts of gamers across the world.
Damn I had some good times on that game and hopefully they can better Halo2 with the upcoming Halo 3, but only time will tell.
