Something that tends to get overlooked when it comes to gaming is the box’s cover art, but when little is known about a title, even a photograph of the game’s cover is enough to make any fan excited. This time around, it’s time for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fans to get excited.
Robert Bowling, known as fourzerotwo, has posted an image of him holding the box using Twitter. The image, as you can see above, displays a familiar image accompanied with the game’s logo – including the ‘Call of Duty’ name, to which Activision originally dropped, then un-dropped.
The game is expected to launch on the 11th October 10th November 2009.
