Of all the things for Rockstar to hear this morning I doubt the news of a possible leaked release date will be pleasing. Especially considering the leak came from an employee, or drone as Rockstar likes to call them (so we hear).

An animator who used to work with Rockstar seems to have revealed the games release date when he inadvertently added GTAV’s release date to his CV.

The animator wrote in his CV that GTAV was one of his ‘Shipped Titles’ with the release date of October 2012.

Take the news with a rather large mound of salt from, Rockstar have of course not commented on the news and if it is true then I doubt we’ll hear a peep from them for a good few months yet.

Sadly the CV has also since been removed from the web, no doubt Rockstars lawyers getting page buzzes early this morning as they all mounted their lawyer engine. If anything this will only add to the speculation and give the news a stronger case of being true.

For now write down in October 2012…. GTA V
