Microsoft have recently announced that the Xbox 360 will finally be hitting South Africa late next month, at a price of R3,699 for the Premium package and R2,699 for the Core console.
Cindy White from Microsoft commented on the upcoming launch:
“South Africa is a country where the appetite for console gaming is growing in leaps and bounds — expanding to Africa allows us to build a successful business ecosystem for our partners, and to bring more gamers amazing next-generation gaming and entertainment experiences..”
Games such as Project Gotham Racing 3, Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero will be available at the console’s launch with several other killer title’s to follow including Forza 2, Viva Pinata and more.
The Xbox 360 (Core & Premium) launches in South Africa at midnight on Friday the 29th of September.
