According to US gaming magazine/website GamePro, the Xbox 360 has the weakest exclusive titles of the three next-generation titles. In an article on their website, GP says that, aside from Halo 3 and Gears of War, “the list [of exclusives] gets very slim. Microsoft needs a few more great reasons to own an Xbox 360 because when the PS3 picks up some steam a year (or less) down the road, it’s going to be a tough battle.”
But in their feature, GamePro made some big flaws. First off, they completely forgot to mention both Mass Effect, BioShock (they did include these two later on) and Splinter Cell 5, all three of which are console exclusive to Xbox 360. GamePro also praised the PS3 for it’s “surefire blockbusters” despite most being sequels and then went on to critisise the Wii for having too many sequels.
So what do you think of GamePro’s article, does the 360 lack in the exclusives department? Does the PS3 have enough “surefire blockbusters” to top the sales in a few years time? Let us know, by posting your comments below.
