Galaga came out a bit later than the expected 12:01 Pacific Standard Time release, but it is now available for all Xbox 360 owners to download. The space shoot-em-up from Namco Bandai Games will set you back 400 Marketplace points, but as always with arcade titles, you can download a free trial version before you make up your mind whether or not to purchase the game.
Galaga is the third game out of five in this “Summer of Arcade” promotion that Microsoft is currently running. Frogger started things off two weeks ago and then Cloning Clyde followed. A week from today the highly anticipated Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting will be available, and two weeks from today Pac-Man will wrap things up.
