Microsoft has officially announced that the original Xbox party title Fuzion Frenzy will be getting a sequel, aptly named Fuzion Frenzy 2. Hudson Entertainment, who have worked on games like Bomberman and Mario Party will be developing the game while Microsoft Game Studios will publish it. Fuzion Frenzy is expected to hit retail shelves in the fourth quarter of 2006 in the United States.
Fuzion Frenzy 2 will feature 40 minigames that are set on seven different planets. The game will also include online multiplayer and tournaments.
Those who liked the first Fuzion Frenzy and its developer Blitz Games, fear not. On Blitz Game’s website, they have a “secret project” that will be an “exciting new suite of ‘pick up and play’ action games for Xbox and Xbox 360” that are slated for the same Q4 2006 release.
