WipEout HD patch released

Sony has today issued a patch for WipEout HD that will stop the game freezing if you have more than 50 players on your PlayStation Network friends list.

The bad news however is that if you want the game to work properly you’ll need to delete the old save file and create a new one. If you have played the game offline or deleted friends to stop the game freezing then it will be even worse news for you.

No Trophies or online records will be lost however, just the campaign progress.
