Flickr user hiredgoon has taken some pictures at one of Harvey Norman’s, an Aussie electronics chain, stores. As you can see from the picture below, it’s a display unit promoting the store’s PS3 pre-orders.

Nothing out of the ordinary here, until we take a closer look

Aha! So it’s just a cut-out. By now you’re probably thinking “Why the hell is he posting this on an Xbox 360 website?” Read on my friends.

Now that looks a little familiar…

Yep, that’s right. Harvey Norman have been using an Xbox 360 as a stand for it’s PS3 pre-order’s display. But is it more than that? Note the 360 is plugged in. Could it be, as Xbox 360 Fanboy suggests, that Harvey Norman have been running promotional material for the PS3 on an Xbox 360? Or worse still, have they been trying to pass off 360 games as PS3 games?

Update: Harvey Norman have since removed the display from their store. The Xbox 360 was used to show Harvery Norman advert.
