After months of fighting a copyright problem, Double Fine has finally found a solution for the very enjoyable Trenched to be available in Europe; by changing the name to Iron Brigade! The name change will not only occur for the upcoming EU release, but also in the already released North American version.

The original name conflicted with a Portuguese board game also named ‘Trenched‘. The name change will come as a free title update to release alongside the delayed EU version. The update will also include an all new Survival Mode said to feature “10 new pieces of high level gear” according to Double Fine.

There is no set release date for the patch or EU version, but Double Fine states “It’s going to be in certification real soon!
