Early sales of the comic book title Superman Returns has been described as being ’dissapointing’. Michael Savner an analyst explained to Forbes.com that both Madden and FIFA sales would have to make up for Supermans dismal start.
Savner commented on the situation by saying, “there is even more pressure on sales of Madden NFL 07 and FIFA 07 to deliver strong results in order to meet its third-quarter 2007 revenue guidance.”
EA’s stocks have yet to be hit by Superman Returns sales, but that could change soon if more copies of the game don’t leave the shelves.
