Microsoft could be about to team up with Sky to offer premium channels through the Xbox 360.
It follows the revelation that on Thursday 28th May (tomorrow), both Sky and Microsoft will be holding an event which it teases as “a very special partnership, sure to keep TV fans glued to Xbox Live”.
It could mean that television channels are offered on the console for the first time. It could however be completely un-related.
The 360 currently offers film rentals and partnerships with major studios, but has yet to offer television despite the promise of a BT Vision service when the new Xbox experience was launched in November.
We earlier reported that Zune HD will arrive on the marketplace to offer an enhanced video service.
Stay with us for further details tomorrow.
