Nine brand-new screenshots have emerged from the latest Game Informer Magazine showing off some very richly detailed screenshots of EA RedWood’s Dead Space 2 for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s Playstation 3.

You can view all the screenshots in our 360/PS3 Media Sections.

If you’ve yet to play Dead Space all I can say is WHY NOT? Dead Spacerecieved a 95% score on Xbox 360 and 91% score on the Playstation 3. You can read both reviews by clicking the links below!

“You’ll assume the command of Isaac Clarke an engineer sent to a mining ship known as the USG Ishimura. After communications with the ship go dark, its up to you and a small unit to find out what’s going on and to fix it. However, things don’t go to plan as they rarely do, and when you crash land on to the darkened runway strip, you’ll soon wish you became a plumber and not an engineer. As you soon become aware that you are not alone and that the ship has been infested with crazed Necromorphs lurking around each and every corner. Before you even land on the Ishimura you’ll find that Isaac isn’t just here to find out what’s inhabited on this ship, but to find a loved one.”

“Dead Space sees you taking control of an engineer called Isaac. You are part of a crew that has been sent to check out the spaceship Ishimura which sent out a distress signal a short while ago. Upon boarding the ship you find out that things have gone horribly wrong. It’s quite a generic setup, but it does its job. It doesn’t take long for things to take numerous turns for the worse and before long you find yourself stuck on the ship, separated from your crew members and being hunted down by aliens know as the Necromorph. Time to whip out some weapons and fight through the Necromorph in order to escape.”

While no other details have been announced for Dead Space 2 if it’s anything like the first, we’re in for one hell of a Necromorphie Ride. Let us know what you think of these screenshots by leaving your comments below!
