Rare to announce 2 new games at E3?

As we step into the conference season, with GDC just around the corner, the rumour mill has kicked into overdrive. The first one to spout from it’s wonderful mouth is that the quirky British publisher, Rare, may have two secret projects under their collective belts ready to announce come E3 in June.

The words “first person shooter” and “online brawler” seem to be the key words that are being thrown around. This has led many internet Matlocks to come to the conclusion that this signals the release of perhaps a new Perfect Dark game and/or a new Killer Instinct.

It’s hard to tell at this point whether this is true or not, or even if Rare are going to release anything, but we sure can hope it’s something good.

Hopefully not as brutally hard as Battletoads though.
