Sega has confirmed our expectations by announcing the arrival of OutRun Online Arcade on the Xbox Live Arcade, as part of the Days of Arcade campaign, on Wednesday 15th April. We also expected the game to release at 1200 Microsoft Points. Sega has revealed it will be at the cheaper price of 800 Microsoft Points.
The announcement was made on (you guessed it) Sega’s official Twitter at around 8pm. The news comes after a fairly pricey week on the Xbox Live Arcade with the two released titles coming to a combined price of 2800 Microsoft Points (approximately £23.24). OutRun Online Arcade will also be releasing on the PlayStation Network on Thursday 16th April for £7.99/9.99 Euros. We have the achievements for the title though due to a technical difficulty, they will be uploaded in the very near future.
