Over 7.9 million people have signed up to PlayStation Plus, Sony has revealed.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, the figures were revealed during a post-earnings conference call with overseas investors on Friday, October 31st, 2014.
However, Sony executives didn’t specify how many of those members owned a PlayStation 4.
The figures come almost a year on from when the online service underwent some significant changes to coincide with the launch of the PlayStation 4.
