PES 2010 to receive FREE dlc

Today sees the release of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 and many football fans including myself are intrigued to see whether the lately poor series has taken a turn for the better. Well I haven’t got the game yet, and probably won’t until after the weekend, but the guys at Konami have let us know (via their blog) that they are planning on releasing dlc, which best of all will be free of charge.

“You’ll be able to get your hands on the game on Thursday/Friday and we really hope you enjoy all the improvements and changes we’ve made this year.”

“As we keep saying we really appreciate your help making the best PES yet and we hope you’ll continue to give us great feedback.”

“We’ll be adding downloadable updates and content shortly – free of charge of course – so watch out for those.”

It’s not known if the dlc will be in the form of squad updates or new gamemodes but free is free so I’m not complaining. Are you buying PES 2010 this year? Let us know by sporting a comment below!
