Microsoft’s Group Product Manager for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, Aaron Greenberg, has confirmed that there will be no X07 event this year. Speaking to Squad XP’s podcast, Greenberg said:
“There is not a real X07 this year but I think that we will figure out some way to talk about 2008 some time at a different event or a different type of programme”.
However, a Microsoft spokesperson has told GI.biz:
“We’re looking at doing something here in the UK. It will be from a UK point of view, not from a European point of view.”
The event has yet to be confirmed but it will happen “before Christmas” according to the spokesperson. We’ll keep you up to date with any further details.
