New Star Wars Kinect Details

With E3 mania taking over the cyber world it comes as a nice pre-E3 surprise to see some new details emerge around the upcoming Star Wars Kinect title being released sometime this year.

The game, published by LucasArts, will be developed by Terminal Reality. The same company behind the Ghostbusters Video Game, BloodRayne and Æon Flux. The game is set just after the movie ‘The Phantom Menace’ and you’ll be taking control of an all new character as well as a new ensemble of supporting cast members to boot.

You’ll find yourself in new enviroments as well as ones seen in previous games and films. Also old enemies will be making appearances including the one and only Darth Vader as seen in last years teaser.

The controller itself will give players the ability to use their hands and body to fight the enemy. You’ll not only be able to wield a computer animated light saber thanks to your Kinect, but you’ll able to use ‘The Force’ for the first time ever. The game will even give you the chance to fire lasers and fly pod racers via the Kinect.

The game will be shown at this years E3 and already it sounds mouth wateringly good. Look out for up to date news on this title and more at Console Monster.

Despite a long absence from gaming, during which he spent many a night reminiscing about the glory days on Halo 2, Matty is now back online smashing his way through Black Ops and soon enough Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3.
