GameTrailers.com has just released a brand new Madden 07 video showcasing some of the long awaited “replay value” features including the Superstar Mode and the Owners Mode. The clip also shows us some glimpses of Training Camps, weekly workouts, and a revived Draft day system for a repolished franchise mode.
Last year, Madden 2006 was a rushed in launch title featuring only the core of football gameplay and a basic franchise mode. Recieved badly by fans and critics, last year’s Madden was a rushed attempt. This year, will be EA’s first true next-gen Madden outing. The stadium and player models have been rebuilt, grass and jersey stain effects have been added, and new weather modes keep the game in a realistic choma of the cold football gridiron. The video also previews the newest in-game feature, which is the new running system that allows the player to manipulate his blockers to open holes for his half-back. A critical part of the game that hasn’t been rendered in any American Football simulation before. So after evaluating the first glimspe the game on the whole looks great, and is looking to become one of the best Madden games ever released.
