Microsoft have always pushed the 360 as the ultimate entertainment device. Community and pulling gamers together has been their main goal and this really shows with the 360 doing voice chat, media streaming and multiplayer gaming with ease and style.

The 360 already has links with Windows Media Edition for media streaming and, to a lesser extent, Windows Media Connect for XP PC’s, so it was no surprise that MSN would be added to the list. MSN is Microsoft’s Instant Messenger program, letting people send messages to friends,relatives or work mates on any PC with MSN installed. MSN also comes installed on nearly all Windows XP machines as well, making it easier for the combination of MSN and 360 to be realised. In a recent BBC interview with Microsoft UK Mobility Business Manager, Jason Langridge, he expected the system to go live in about 6 months time.
