Microsoft make changes to Xbox Live Indie Games

Microsoft has unveiled some new changes for Xbox Live Indie Games developers.

The first change that has been made is the maximum size limit. Originally capped at 150 MB, the file size has been upped to 500 MB. This allows for better graphics, more gameplay and more.

Secondly, titles larger than 50MB must be priced at either 240 or 400 Microsoft Points – the latter of which is the price of low-end Xbox Live Arcade titles.

Lastly, Xbox Live Indie Games developers are now allowed to create ten titles. Previously they were only allowed eight.

It was recently revealed that, as of this month, there are over 2,250 Xbox Live Indie Games on the service.
