Criterion Games have announced more new content for Burnout: Paradise. The announcement comes three days after they announced the Burnout: Paradise Party Edition would be arriving on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace next year. This time the new content comes in the form of vehicles, and they aren’t just any old vehicles.
Criterion will be releasing four new ‘legendary cars’ early next year. The first of the four cars has been revealed on the developer’s blog as a “classic 1980’s styled silver sports car based on the fan-favourite: Jansen P12.” Isn’t it a beauty? But wait, it gets better. Players will be available to activate a hover mode which makes the wheels retract and the car hover at head height.
Other cars that have been confirmed to receive the ‘legendary’ treatment include the Cavalry Bootlegger, Manhattan Spirit and the GT Nighthawk. All the cars will be available to download early next year either individually or in a pack (at a discounted price).
