With all the rumour of Halo 3 spreading around, it’s little wonder that Halo 1 and 2 have been put in the corner.  However, a recent comment at bungie.net brought Halo 1 and 2 right back into the frame.

“First thing I am going to do is play Halo one on my HDTV. I might go through the whole campaign again. There is a very slight possibility I might play PGR3 or Perfect Dark Zero first. But then, straight onto Halo one. We’re going to have more to tell you about how Halo one and two look on 360, and it’s all good news.”

So what can you read from that?  Halo 1 and 2 will be backwards combatible on the 360, which most of us know/suspected.  It could also mean that we’ll be seeing Halo 1 and 2 getting new looks on the 360.  Why do we say that?  Well they say that both games look good on the 360. They also mention that they will be playing Halo 1 on their HDTV.  Will there be smoother models, crisper enemies and better frame-rates?

Well that is all speculation, but we’re sure Bungie will reveal all within the next few weeks.  Rumour is already spreading that certain gaming sites have seen Halo on the Xbox 360, after they recieved the Dev kits and decided to try out Halo on it – and they reported that the game looked sharper.

More information when we get it.
