Gamerscores to be reset if caught cheating

Gamers are being warned not to cheat on Xbox Live. It could mean not only a reset Gamerscore, but a permanent brand on your Gamercard.

Xbox Live Policy boss, Stephen Toulouse revealed the new measures in Major Nelson’s weekly podcast. It is a new measure as the team get tough on those hacking the system and ruining the online experience on certain games.

Aside from big red letters ‘Cheater’, we’re not quite sure how the brand will work yet. Either way, cheaters never prosper. Unless its the Sonic 1 ‘Up-Down-Left-Right-A-Start’ code.
