GAME release schedule ‘in-accurate’

Several news sources are reporting that a leaked release date schedule from GAME contains some important release dates.

In the document obtained by VG247, Call of Duty 7 and DJ Hero 2 are listed for October whilst Crysis 2 and Metal Gear Solid: Rising are dated for 24th September. Other key titles include Brink and Guitar Hero 6 in September and Fallout: New Vegas, Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf and James Bond Racing in October.

However, the document which is actually a release date list which is published weekly for marketing purposes is inaccurate and is used for the purposes of pre-orders only.

Various publishers refused to comment on the speculation, but the internal lists can be publicly viewed at any GAME store and therefore are to be taken ‘with a pinch of salt’. No wonder there is nothing to comment on.
