250GB 360 HDD will cost 80 quid

As previously announced, the new Xbox 360 250GB hard drive will cost £79.99.

It follows an announcement by Xbox Live Community Manager Graeme Boyd who corrected an error on Twitter where he revealed a £64.99 price-point.

“Ugh. I got the UK pricing for the 250GB hard drive wrong too. It’s ERP £79.99, not £64.99 as I said yesterday. Really sorry… (*gives up*),” he tweeted.

The new 250GB hard drive which was previously exclusive to the Super Elite will be out on the 16th April with a data transfer cable included in the box.

In the mean time Microsoft are selling the 120GB drives at a reduced price of £79.99 from £99.99. We’re not sure why anyone would purchase one at this ‘reduced’ rate however.

Microsoft are declining to comment on the situation.
