Turn10 Studios takes a backseat in this latest title for the Forza franchise,Forza Horizon. UK developer Playground Games, a studio that contains the talents of such titles like Colin McRae, GRID and DiRT, will be collaborating with Turn10 Studios who will be focusing on new releases of Forza Motorsport whilst Playground Games build up a sub franchise with an outlook to publish annual releases for the franchise – not all to similar to the Call of Duty series.
This is a great announcement for racing fans and it is good to see the franchise broadening its scope and possibly going nose to tail against EA’s Need for Speed series.
Forza Horizon is sceduled for release later this year.
