Operation Burnout has dicovered the first images from Burnout 5 in a PDF file on Criterion’s website. The images appear to be CG renders, however a visitor to OB, by the name of LEE stated:
“Hey these arn’t just CG renders, I think these are demo tests of in-game, and game-art. I’m a 3D artist myself, and the quality and type of texturing vs modelling to me says its all designed for real-time.”
If indeed these turn out to be in-game shots, we could be looking at possibly the best looking next-generation game to date. Check out the shots below (click any image for the full view) or read the PDF file here.
