The release of Fatal Inertia EX on the PlayStation Store takes place on the 19th June in the USA, but Europeans will have to wait a little longer for the futuristic update to arrive.
KOEI has told website Eurogamer, that the game will arrive a ‘little later’ in Europe. Which could mean a matter of days or knowing companies these days a few months. It’ll cost $19.99 over the pond but no announcement on a price point for the UK as of yet.
A demo will be going live as the game is released. For those unaware, EX is an update to the original Fatal Inertia which was released not so long ago. Joe reviewed it on the Xbox 360 and gave it an enormous 30%, so obviously we thought it was a great title at the time.
The new version promises faster speeds, better handling and shiny graphics with added weather effects and scenary touch-ups. A new training area called Proving Grounds will ease the learning curb for new racers while eight all new tracks feature.
And finally there is a co-op split-screen Career mode, online leaderboards, a super-tough elite level and rumble and motion sensing support. Phew…
Expect it, well sometime in the next few weeks in Europe but for 360 gamers the wait goes on.
