Seriously, wow!

Although many thought it to be an elaborate April fools, it looks like Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is actually coming to console as a digital download title. Check out this 80’s style VHS trailer, revealing the title and a quick glimpse of gameplay.

With the trailer indicating a serious inspiration of 80’s nostalgia, the excitement continues with the announcement of Michael Biehn (of Aliens and Terminator fame) taking on the lead role.

There is still little to see at the moment but we have been told you will not need to have owned Far Cry 3 to play this game, although if you don’t own Far Cry 3 stop reading buy that and play it while you wait for this masterpiece to hit XBLA when it launches in May.

More details to follow when we get them but for now feel free to head over to the games website by clicking here. Will you be picking up the title? What are your thoughts to the announcement? What do you think the story will be? Speculate and let us know your opinions by leaving a comment below.
