Playlogic Entertainment has revealed Fairytale Fights is set to receive downloadable content. Titled Fairytale Fights Treasure Pack 1, the downloadable content will add four new playable characters and three PvP arenas. The first of the four new playable characters has been confirmed as Bones, a 2 foot tall anthropologist who has a love for life, milk, calcium and all things dairy.

Furthermore, Playlogic Entertainment has confirmed that this won’t be the last DLC we’ll be seeing for Fairytale Fights, with the Treasure Pack being the “first of many brand new updates.” The first Treasure Pack will be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network from the 4th February 2010. No details regarding pricing have yet to be revealed.
Fairytale Fights scored 45% in the Console Monster review, stating: “Normally, you would expect a happy ever after though, unfortunately, Fairytale Fights has no fairytale ending. Whilst it is a unique title with some strong ideas amid a distinctive style, the lack of a true storyline, the clumsy combat and repetitiveness of the title fail to make Fairytale Fights a must-buy purchase.”
