It was back in June 2009 that Ubisoft announced downloadable content for one of last year’s biggest titles: Assassin’s Creed 2. Two months after the game’s release, the first of the downloadable content packs forthe title has been dated.

Battle of Forli, which will add new missions in the Romagna area, will be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network on Thursday 28th January 2010, priced at 320 Microsoft Points/€3.99. Ubisoft has also revealed the second downloadable content: Bonfire of the Vanities is due to release in February.

If you haven’t been convinced into purchasing Assassin’s Creed 2, the Console Monster review might just do that. Stay tuned to Console Monster for a review of the new downloadable content very soon.
