Fable 2 patched ahead of new content

Ahead of the release of the Knothole Island download content tomorrow, Lionhead has released a patch today which fixes a variety of bugs which has plauged some users of the game since it was released.

The main issues fix the unresponsive Abbot in Oakfield, the Guild Cave chest which plays up, children being picked out as assassin targets and stock levels at the Bowerstone furniture shop.

The new island is out tomorrow for 800 MS Points (£6.80 in old money approx.) and will feature the gorgeous looking snow experienced in the early stages of the game.

Also out are freebie items for those who won’t shell out for the pack and a premium dashboard theme. We’ll bring you the lowdown on the expansion during the next week or so.
