Tomonobu Itakagi is best known for helping to create the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises with Tecmo, before leaving a few years back to start his own company, Valhalla Game Studios.
The result is this THQ-published third-person shooter. A change of pace from Itakagi’s usual fighting games, Devil’s Third will nevertheless feature a “deep melee combat system”.
