Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – Community Announcement

Fans of the original Call of Juarez and Call of Juarez:Bound in Blood (less we speak about Call of Juarez:The Cartel the better) will be interested to hear the announcement of Ubisoft’s upcoming titleCall of Juarez: Gunslinger – for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Developed by the same team, Techland, we will see the franchise return to the wild west with more gun-tooting shootouts between the most wanted of outlaws.

A little insight into the game can be found from the fansite on Facebook, which states:

From the dust of a gold mine to the dirt of a saloon, Call of Juarez® Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales. Live the epic and violent journey of a ruthless bounty hunter onto the trail of the West’s most notorious outlaws. Blurring the lines between man and myth, this adventure made of memorable encounters unveils the untold truth behind some of the greatest legends of the Old West.”

Fans of the game were dissapointed with the modern direction for Call of Juarez franchise, Call of Juarez:The Cartel, so let’s hope the return to very roots of the wild west is a positive direction for the game and will keep fans and newcomers very happy.

Call of Juarez: Gunsligner is set for a 2013 release.
