Bungie swing the banhammer on credit cheats

Bungie have reset the credits on 15,000 gamers profiles after discovering they had been abusing a known exploit a little too much. Shortly after Halo: Reach was released gamers found a quick way to rack up credits, making use of an in-game exploit. Whilst Bungie were fine with this (for now), they weren’t so happy when players took it to the next level and made the exploit far more dangerous via “network manipulation”.

The players also received a one-day ban on gaining any more credits.

If you have been involved in glitching your way through the credit system be afraid as Bungie have stated this is only a preliminary pass. The banhammer will strike again, and hard.
