A new beta for the next Xbox Live update will take place before the month is out, Microsoft have said.
Eagerly awaited, the update will include Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm integration as well as the possiblity of the Sky Player.
“People are excited about the new services coming to Xbox Live such as Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm,” said Craig Beilinson, director of marketing at Microsoft.
It follows a similar scheme for the update in July which featured Games on Demand and sped up the dashboard. A limited number of people will be invited into the scheme as well as members of the press. Presumably they could include us, if we pay Microsoft enough money.
We’ll have a hands when we get the golden ticket.
