EA has today shot down rumours that Crysis is coming to Xbox 360 after an unnamed developer told the 1UP Show that a different version of the forthcoming PC game was in development for Xbox 360. The developer said that while the storyline would be similar, the gameplay would be very different. The developer also stated that Crysis for Xbox 360 would make more use of the Xbox 360’s DirectX9 capabilites (Crysis for PC is set yo make great use of Dirext10).
However, EA today denied the rumours stating a “miscommunication” between the developer and 1UP. Make of it what you will.
