Microsoft have confirmed that the demo for Crackdown has entered the final verification process. However, the demo will not hit the Marketplace tomorrow, as originally stated. Microsoft say the demo will be available within a few days, however IGN is stating that the demo won’t be available for “several weeks”.

Microsoft have also confirmed that the demo won’t feature the “jump in, jump out” co-op that will be a big feature of the retail version. Instead gamers will have to organise co-op games with their buddies using the pre-game interface.

We’ll let you know when we get an updated date for the demo.
