Sony seem to be good at somethings. Yet another game, from Sony has been delayed. WipEout HD is now scheduled to hit the PlayStation Store in time for a Christmas release. The game has been faced by technical difficulties during its development with many gamers now expecting the game to slip into 2009.

Sony Europe boss, David Reeves explains “There is a specific technical problem with WipEout that we have to solve. I can’t go into details but it is a really, really tricky technical problem that no region has been able to solve at the moment. I think it will come out before the end of the year but it is something that was just very difficult to get to grips with.”

Here’s a list of some other big name PlayStation titles which have/ or are due to be delayed.

Haze originally a November 2007 release and later launched May 2008
