Microsoft has opened up the next Preview programme ready for the upcoming Autumn dash update which will include Twitter, Facebook and last.fm functionality as well as the Sky Player which launches on 27th October.
You can head over the the official Xbox Connect site to sign up, where it’ll ask you a variety of questions. In the past these have been as basic as putting your serial number and console ID in as well as some smaller details, however this time they want your Modem model codes and television serial numbers as well as makes and details on how you stream around the home.
Presumably this is to weedle out the casual users amongst us. That said, all Xbox Live users are eligiable including Silver and Gold and from any of the locations that Xbox Live is available in.
Don’t forget the Sky Player which will launch at the end of the month, was given a firm date earlier today.
