Xbox 360 Spring system update released

Next time you turn on your Xbox 360 when it’s connected to Xbox Live, you will be prompted to download a system update.

Don’t get too excited though, Major Nelson tweeted that the mandatory Spring update “contains behind the scenes improvements & prep for future enhancements.

The “future enhancements” is likely to include a number of the new features revealed at last week’s E3 conference, including Xbox SmartGlass and the web browser.

If you haven’t received the update yet, it is expected to roll out to everyone else next week.
