For a long time, Microsoft has been touting it’s belief that they will have sold 10 million Xbox 360 consoles worldwide by December 31st 2006. At CES, Robbie Bach stated that they had beaten the figure by 400,000 units. Bach also revealed that, to date, Gears of War has sold 2.7 million copies. Xbox Live is also now home to 5 million gamers.
So what about 2007? Well, Bach didn’t mention any projected sales figures, however, he did state that he hopes more than 300 titles will be available by December 31st 2007.
