If the release of the Xbox 360 Elite along with the recent hardware price cuts wasn’t enough to tempt you to join Microsoft’s gaming bandwagon, then todays official announcement may well get you interested in ‘jumping in’.

After much speculation Microsoft today confirmed that a new Xbox 360 SKU will be hitting UK shelves on October the 26th, and will go under the name of ‘Xbox 360 Arcade’, surprisingly enough titled due to it’s five free arcade games packed in. For a RRP of £199 you get yourself a Xbox 360 along with a HDMI port, 256MB Memory Card, Wireless Controller, and Pac Man CE, Uno, Luxor 2, Boom Boom Rocket, and Feeding Frenzy.

So yet another option to tempt you to join in with the millions of gamers already enjoying the Xbox 360, is this enough to make you jump in, or is yet another SKU just to confusing for consumers? Tell us your thoughts!
