There will be tears of joy spilled from many football gamer’s eyes when they hear the words Sensible Soccer mentioned. Today Microsoft has made another recent rumor come true with the announcement of Sensible World of Soccer coming to Xbox Live Arcade from UK developers Codemasters.
The game will be based on the classic 1994 version of Sensible World of Soccer and will let gamers choose between the original graphics or an updated, high-resolution look and feel – while still capturing the pure essence of the original and its gameplay.
To top all this, the game will be playable over Xbox Live. Now if that hasn’t put a smile on your face I don’t know what will. Sensi should hit the marketplace at the end of this year or more likely in 2007 if the trailer of upcoming Marketplace content at X06 was anything to go by.
Update: Here is a concept screenshot from the enhanced version of the game!
