WWE 2K15 will let players take their own custom-made wrestlers up from training camp to the Heavyweight Championship in the series’ first “comprehensive, career-driven mode”, 2K announced Tuesday.
Similar to the NBA 2K series MyCareer mode, players will start off as promising prospects and make their way to the top of the sport, finding support and forging rivalries with real-life wrestlers as they go.
Created wrestlers start off in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida under the tutelage of head coach Bill DeMottt. From there they move on to secure their rank in NXT by competing against their fellow upcoming stars.
Successful competitors will advance to the WWE main roster and make their way through matches, earning placement in big-ticket events like Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and eventually WrestleMania, all while completing ultimatums handed down by general manager Vickie Guerrero.
