Team17’s studio director Martyn Brown has posted on his blog that there will soon be an update for Worms. Brown stated that the update will fix:
- Crashing when in a 4 player game
- Some exploits that slipped through the net during testing
- AI speeds up (now taking around 1 or 2 seconds)
- AI Grenade accuracy toned down (hallelujah)
There will also be some downloadable content coming our way. Brown mentioned:
- A new theme (the backgrounds within the game)
- New Audio and New Voice banks
- Dashboard Themes and Gamer pics
There’s no mention of new weapons coming, which is a shame since it’s probably been the number one complaint about the XBLA version of the game. Brown didn’t mention a date that the update and content will go live, but we’ll let you know once we get sight of it.
